Eddie Glenn Disheroon, age 73 of Huntland, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born in Trenton, Alabama on October 10, 1950, to the late T.L. and Rosa (Swearengin) Disheroon. Glenn served in the United States Army and was a disabled veteran of the Vietnam War, in which he was the recipient of the Purple Heart award. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as taking care of his animals. His contagious sense of humor along with his outgoing personality allowed him to never meet a stranger. He will be remembered for his heart of gold and desire to help others in need. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Wayne Disheroon; and daughter, Misty Maxwell. Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Dudley Disheroon; daughters, Stacy Disheroon, Cassie Disheroon, and Paige Disheroon; grandson, Preston Maxwell; granddaughter, Vanessa Disheroon; brother, Jimmy (Nettie) Disheroon; sisters-in-law, Ginger Dudley and Deana (Alan) Curtis; nieces, Lisa (Terry) Smith, Angie (Bryan) Sedwick, Calli Curtis, and Bella Curtis; great-nephews, Travis (Ana) Smith, and Bryce (Ana) Sedwick; great-niece, Traci (Tim) Walden; and special fur babies, Darla, Hershey, and Pepper. Visitation will be from 1-2pm on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 2:30 pm at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
