Funeral service for Eddie Edward Dotson, age 46, of Decatur will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8,2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Willard Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Eddie Edward Dotson of Decatur died on April 3, 2024 at home with family around him. Eddie is survived by his wife, Beth Dotson; father, Hubert Ray Dotson (Michelle); son, T. J. Parsons; brothers, Scotty Dotson and Brendon Dotson; sisters, Tracey Dotson May, Holley Guyse, Tonya Powers, Mindy Hillis (Kevin), Valerie Quinn, and Carrie Wirth; and several nephews and nieces. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Fay Powers, and brother, Greg Allen Dotson.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Thomas, Chelsie May, Scotty Dotson, Holley Guyse, Tracey Dotson May, and Phillip Dotson.
Today is full of memories of a brother laid to rest and every single one of them is filled with happiness for you were someone special, always such a joy to be around and there was so much pain when it was time to let you go. We hope you can rest in peace and watch over us from Heaven above.
