A Memorial service for Eddie D. Sherrill, 73, will be Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Goode officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Sherrill died on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born October 6, 1950, in Lawrence County, to Homer D. Sherrill and Mary Katherine “Sue” Smith Sherrill.
Eddie was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He had a great love for the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and ATV riding. He never met a stranger and was known for his sharp, quick wit and ability to make others laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was a prime example of character and integrity for them and for anyone he met. He retired from FUTABA as a manager, prior to his passing.
He was preceded in death by a son: Joshua Sherrill, parents and sister, Linda Holland.
