Funeral service for Ed Huggins, 84, will be Monday, April 22, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Pope officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 21, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Huggins died on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born Saturday, December 22, 1934, in Georgia to Luther Washington Huggins and Ella Jane Faw Huggins, who preceded him in death. Mr. Huggins was employed in finance for the CIT Group, working as a Regional Sales Manager until his retirement. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of First United Methodist Church since 1967, where he sang in the chancel choir and the church quartet since 1967. He also worked part-time for Peck Funeral Home for many years.
