Mr. Earnest Scott
died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, in Montgomery, Alabama.
A resident of Florence, Alabama, Mr. Scott worked at Four Cities Import for many years. He was a member of Revival Center Church of God in Christ, Florence, where he served faithfully as a deacon.
Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Lafity Scott (Mrs. Scott), and daughter, Veronica “Bonnie” Allen.
He is survived by his children, James (Barbara) Allen Jr., Rockwall, Texas, Alesia Allen, Montgomery, Alabama, Tonika (John) Greenleaf, Richmond, Virginia, and Kimberly (Willie) Smith¸ Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and grandchildren, Marcus Allen, Kenya Beasley, Elder Alec’Dair Scott, Sada Allen, Kristi Allen, Xzandria Morris, Earlington Ross Smith, and Darius and Benjamin Greenleaf.
Homegoing services will be Saturday, Aug. 9, at 11 a.m. at Revival Center Church of God in Christ, Florence, with Elder Walter Johnson, officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park¸ Florence, Alabama. Visitation with the family will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Saints Funeral Home, Sheffield, Alabama.
