Mr. Earnest Gene Cash of Joppa, Alabama; passed away on Thursday – November 11, 2021 at the age of 83.
Mr. Cash was born on December 27, 1937 in Winston County, AL to the late John Cash and Belle Nicholson Cash. Mr. Cash is originally from Hartselle, AL, moving to Joppa 5 years ago. He worked as a mechanic for the Alabama State Troopers Office. Earnest Cash was a member and deacon at Corinth Baptist Church in Joppa, AL. He enjoyed family get-togethers, loved being outside, bird hunting, fishing and throwing horse shoes.
Mr. Cash will be forever remembered by his beloved wife, Wanda Horton Cash; son, Carl Cash (Sharon); daughter, Teresa Rodgers (Tommy); grandchildren, Brodie Cash, Brittany Cash, Donna Davis (Eric), Brandy Morgan (Noah), Billie Jo Brannon, Amanda Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Austin Orr, Hunter Orr, Alivia Davis.
In addition to his parents; Mr. Cash is at last reunited with his son, Steven Cash.
A visitation will be held at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Sunday, November 14th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to immediately follow at Corinth Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Flynn and Bro. Ricky Beck officiating.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. Cash to his final resting place are Andy Hart, Eric Davis, Brodie Cash, Jerry Barnett, Austin Orr, Dustin Russell. Honorary pallbearer, Gene Barnett.
