Early Leon McAdams, 86, of Madison, AL passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, AL.
Visitation will be noon-1:00pm Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in Millport, AL. Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm at the church with Bro. Luke Bozeman officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.
Mr. McAdams was born October 24, 1936, in Millport, AL to the late Lando and Annie McAdams. He graduated from Millport High School in 1955 and shortly thereafter joined Liberty National Life Insurance as an agent. He spent his career at LNL retiring in 1996. He married the love of his life, Myra Atkins, on August 21, 1960 and they had 62 wonderful years together before her death in May of 2022. Mr. McAdams was a resident of Columbus, MS for 60 years before moving to Madison, AL. He was a faithful member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church all of his life.
Mr. McAdams is survived by his daughters – Melissa Patterson, Allison Schuster, and Christy McAdams; grandchildren – Katie Patterson, Daniel Patterson, and Scott Schuster; and brother – Donald McAdams. He was predeceased by his brother Milford McAdams and his sister Elaine McAdams Cork.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Patterson, Scott Schuster, Steve McAdams, Russ Cole, Dave Cole and Mike Shaw.
