Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Friday, June 21, 2024 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Earline Ruby Jenkins, age 91 of Gadsden, who passed away Friday, June 14, 2024. Rev. Newman Voss will officiate. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
Earline was a dedicated military wife that loved to travel in her younger years. She loved to spend time outside on her porch and enjoyed Saturday Morning yard sales with her family. Earline loved listening to classic country music and spending time with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jenkins; daughters, Debra Jones and Barbara Jenkins Johnson; twin brother, Eugene Brown; brothers, Raymond Brown and James Brown; sister, Nettie Jo Brown; and parents, Alfred and Minnie Brown.
Earline is survived by her sister, Christine Willouby; daughter, Shirley (Bo) Hughes; son, Lewis Jenkins; grandchildren, David (Michelle) Jenkins; Chris (Amanda) Neely, Kevin (Tawona) Neely, and Whitney Hughes; great-grandchildren; Darian Jenkins, Jacob Neely, Abbie Neely, Jaylon Jenkins, William James Jenkins, Faith Neely, JoAnna Neely, Koltain Neely, Lily Hughes, Kylie McCoy, and Corbin McCoy; great-great-grandchildren, Ledger Handy, Ava Jenkins, Ryder Neely, Rayne Neely, Ian Neely, and Malik Landrum, Jr., and numerous other extended family.
Pallbearers will be David Jenkins, Chris Neely, Kevin Neely, Jaylon Jenkins; William James Jenkins, Jacob Neely, and Koltain Neely.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Cynthia Cranford for being a very close friend to Earline in her later years.
The family will receive friends from 11:30am-12:30am prior to the service at the funeral home.
