Mrs. Earline Bingham Powers, age 91, passed away on Saturday in Decaturville, TN. She was born November 11, 1931 in Bath Springs, Tennessee to the late Floyd and Lois Wyatt Bingham. She was a retired teacher from Scotts Hill High School and a member of Souls Harbor Pentecostal Church.
Mrs. Earline was well known in the community, was kind and giving, and charitable with her time and love. Earline was a kind and loving person. She enjoyed reading in her spare time.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; Hermon, Elmer, and Elvis Bingham and two sisters; Geneva Holland and Mary Mays. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mr. A. L. Powers; her son, Philip Powers; and her daughter; Jennifer Powers Carson (Terry).
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Pafford Scotts Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive guests and friends at the following times on Tuesday, 4-9 PM and on Wednesday 11 AM – 2 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
