Earl Wayne Humphrey, Sr.

Earl Wayne Humphrey, Sr., age 71, a resident of Pulaski and formerly of Santa Fe, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 7, 2020 at his residence.

 

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 10th at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Keith Baker and Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Johnsons Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Thursday from 1-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Born on October 1, 1949 in Maury County he was the son of the late Early Humphrey and the late Ruby Beard Thomas.  He was a self-employed carpenter.  Wayne enjoyed the outdoors with always hunting or fishing.  He also liked to travel.  Most of all, he loved riding the back roads.

 

Wayne is survived by his children: Wayne (Jessica) Humphrey of Santa Fe, Jeff Humphrey of Santa Fe, Crystal Craig of Santa Fe, Brittany (Josh) Pewitt of Spring Hill, Alex Humphrey of Pulaski, and Gloria Humphrey of Pulaski; siblings: Danny Humphrey, RonDale Humphrey, Randy Humphrey, Earline Waller, Margaret Bennett, Carolyn Jackson, and Reba Owens; and grandchildren: Justin Humphrey, Abby Humphrey, Rachel Burgess, Logan Capps, Gage Walls, Dillion Craig, Jasmine Craig, and Maverick Pewitt.

 

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter: Cindy Humphrey and siblings: Herchel Humphrey, Howard Humphrey, Hardin Humphrey, Gene Humphrey, and Brenda Tidwell.

 

Pallbearers will be: Dillon Craig, Gage Walls, Logan Capps, Justin Humphrey, Josh Pewitt, and Monroe Hobby.
