Earl Stanley, Jr., age 94, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Humboldt, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 1 PM in the Brownsville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021, 11 AM to 1 PM in the Brownsville Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the service will be: Wade Stanley, Wayne Stanley, Eric Stanley, Henry Clement, Jason Stanley and Patrick Hines. Earl loved to talk and visit with people. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and buying and selling cars. He is survived by his wife, Armandina Stanley, a daughter, Carolyn Clement, (Lee), three sons; Paul Stanley, (Dorothy), Sammy Stanley, (Brenda) all of Brownsville, TN, Tony Stanley (Saundra), Knoxville, TN, a brother, Harris Hughes, (Linda) Brownsville, TN, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland Earl Stanley, Sr. and Lucille Watson Stanley Hughes, a son, Mark Stanley, a grandson, Michael Shane Stanley, two sisters, Ruth Walker and Virginia McDougald. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home, 2865 E. Main St., Humboldt, TN 38343.
