Graveside services to celebrate the life Earl J T Gray, 75, are set for 12:00 pm Saturday at Center Hill Community Cemetery in Counce, Tennessee with Bro. Paul Childers officiating.

JT died March 19, 2021 in Nashville, TN. He was born March 7, 1946 in Corinth, MS to the late Earl Guy and Lorena Voyles Gray. JT was raised in Corinth and moved to Nashville in the 70’s to pursue his love for music. JT was known for his work in the bluegrass music community as a bluegrass musician and club owner, thoughtfully raising The Station Inn as a home for musicians and fans everywhere. He bought the business in 1981 and established it as a Nashville icon loved by so many throughout the world. JT’s contributions to bluegrass music cannot be overstated. In addition to countless public awards and recognition, he was inducted into the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2020, featured in the 2021 Grammy’s as an honored venue owner and he presented the award for Best Country Album. Earl JT Gray became a Shriner in 1971. JT followed in the footsteps of his father Earl Gray and brother Loyel D L Gray as a mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Paul Edward Gray Sr.

He is survived by his brothers, Loyel D. L. Gray, Harold Gray; sisters, Glenda Fowler, Judy Scillion, Helen Harville; host of other family and friends.
