Mr. Earl Hall Barr, age 86, of McMinnville, TN, died December 20, 2023, at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN. He was born August 26, 1937, in Warren County, TN, was the owner of Barr’s Furniture, Inc. for 60 years where he worked along-side his wife, and was very dedicated to his community. He is a member and deacon at Cornerstone Baptist Church, made countless mission trips to Brazil, and also a member of Rotary International and Gideon’s International. Mr. Barr served his country in the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by parents Roe and Bertha Hutchins Barr, brothers Leo and Solon Barr, and sisters Erma Barr, Chris Bouldin, Roena Fuson, Geneva Carroll, and Marie Vinson.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Hazel Barr, son and daughter-in-law Mark and Kim Barr, brother and sister-in-law Elmer and Pat Barr, and a grand-dog Manny Barr. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Fernando Rocha will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
