Earl Franklin Cavender, Sr. age 88, Haleyville, AL. passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at his home. He was retired from Law Enforcement, having served as a Police Officer and Chief Deputy with Winston Co. Sheriffs Dept. He was a member of Waldrop Freewill Baptist Church.
His visitation will be Monday, March 11, 2024 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel, with Bro. Jeff Boyles officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Cavender; children, Earl Franklin Cavender, Jr., Marty Henderson, Ricky Henderson, Cindy Lou Henderson and MaDonna Lee Collins; grandson, Kennith Joe Eugene Henderson and several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Cavender and Margie Lee Brown Cavender; brothers and sisters, Beulah Beatrice Wills, Willard Mark Cavender, Mary Lois Canida, Dorothy Ezell Emerson, Jessie Mae Emerson, Jack Dempsey Cavender, Lula Faye Suitts, Johnny Mack Cavender and James Hugh Cavender; son, Kennith Henderson.
