Earl Frank Slatton Jr, born February 22nd, 1956 to Earl Frank Slatton Sr. and Frances June Slatton, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 8th, 2014. He is survived by his two sons Adam Berini and Jeremy Slatton, two siblings Conny Slatton McEachern and Steven Slatton, and 6 grandchildren. He was affectionately known as “Big Frank” or “Tree” by his many friends due to his physical stature. Big Frank will be best remembered by his love for his friends and family, his love of Nascar (go number 3!), his love of Alabama Football (Roll Tide!), and his witty quips and one-liners. Often, when asked how tall he was, he would say, “5 foot 20.” Because of his fun loving nature, he acquired many, many friends both in his hometown of Florence Alabama and where he spent most of his life, Bradenton Florida. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Elkins Funeral Home Florence from 1-3 PM.
