Mrs. Earl Dean Langford, age 87, of McMinnville, TN passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at her home surrounded by family after a brief 3-month illness. She was born on October 14, 1937 in McMinnville, TN, retired from the McMinnville Police Department after 18 years of service, was a member of Shellsford Baptist Church, and played the piano for church for 50+ years. Mrs. Langford was preceded in death by her parents Frank Burleson Chastain and Delia Lucinda Higginbotham Chastain, husband Eugene Langford, and sister Barbara Jean (Tom) Clendenon.
Survivors include her children Debi Jones, Denise (Joe) Layne, Danny (Amye) Langford, and Darren Langford all of McMinnville, grandchildren Heather (Nathan) Craddock, Britani Webb, Cole Langford, and Drew Langford, great grandchildren Kolby (Chloe), Ty (Rebekah), Chase (Lauryn), Levi, Tucker, Caleb, Sophie Craddock, Calijah and Maggie Langford, Adyson Shay and Rhyleigh Webb, great-great granddaughter Bailey Craddock, sister-in-law Alice Kinnard, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 09, 2025, at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. David Bratcher and Bro. Mike Adams will officiate. Interment will follow at Shellsford Cemetery with Craig Carlson speaking. The Langford Family will receive friends Sunday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 3:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
