Earl Alexander Hicks, Jr. 77 of Dora, passed away December 16, 2021.
Mr. Hicks was a member and Elder of East Walker Church of Christ. He served on the West Birmingham Christian School Board. He was a Board member and former Director of Maywood Christian Youth Camp. He also served for many years on the Board of Trustees for Davis Cemetery in Dora.
Funeral services will be Monday December 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Bevill State College Auditorium in Sumiton. Ministers Barry Bennett, Robert Hall and Alex Hicks will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 11:00 am until service time at Bevill State.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Hicks; children, Wendy Hicks Hall (Louis) and Alex Hicks (Michele); grandchildren, Jackson Hall (Morgan), Park Hall, Clara Paige Hicks. Gracie Hicks and Maggie Hicks; many other relatives and a host of friends.
