Ealon Louise Shelton March, age 72 of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. A native of Moore County, she was born in Lynchburg on April 23, 1948 to the late James E. and Maggie Lou (Eady) Shelton. Before her retirement, she had been employed at Jack Daniels Distillery. Louise enjoyed cooking and traveling, but most of all she cherished the time she spent caring for her family and others in the community. She was a dedicated member of Berry Chapel AME Church in Lynchburg. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her siblings, James Willis Shelton, Mary Lee Word, Nell Wells, and Dora Lucille Shelton. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of fifty-three years, Coleman March Sr of Lynchburg; sons, Coleman C. (Raquel L.) March Jr of Tullahoma, Marcus U. (Judy N.) March of Spring, Texas, and Nicholas J. March of Mt. Juliet; daughter, Valorie L. (Steven L.) Carter of Murfreesboro; sisters, Ella M. (Willie) Rippy of Shelbyville, and Roberta (Harvey) Cannon of Lansing, Michigan; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; uncle, Claude (Dorothy) Eady of Lynchburg; aunts, Joyce Eady of Fayetteville, and Ruby Trollinger of Shelbyville; and devoted cousins, Nancy King and Helen Whitworth. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Highview Cemetery with Rev. Dickie Sebastion officiating.
