E.O. “Bozo” Shelton Jr., age 75, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the Lawrenceburg Police Department as Assistant Chief, former Chief of Police for the Ethridge Police Department, member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and of the Church of Christ Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, E.O. Shelton Sr. and Mae Parker Shelton, and his first wife, Pat Davis Shelton.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, October 14, 2013, with Rodney Livingston officiating. Interment will follow at Houser Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
