He worked 37 years for Colbert County as a park caretaker. He loved crappie and bass fishing. He was an avid Alabama fan. He never met a stranger and loved joking around with everyone. He dearly loved his grandchildren, taking them fishing and hunting, and listening to Alexie sing. He can never be replaced with anyone. We just have to enjoy the memories that he left us.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Brenda Parrish Jefferies; his mother, Ledia Ray Jefferies; daughter, Tessa Jefferies; grandchildren, Braden Jefferies (Evie), Miguel Jefferies, Tideus Willis, Alexie Jefferies; great grandson, Alastor Jefferies; sister, Karan Franks (Scott); brother-in-laws, Paul Parrish (Jan), James“Dude” Parrish (Jackie), and James Smith; sister-in-law, Faye Parrish; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
