Dwight Dewayne BordenDwight Dewayne Borden, 53 of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Visitation will be Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, December 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brian Vandiver officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Dwight was a Colbert County native. He was a spreader of the Word of Christ. Words that his family use to describe Dwight are Honesty, Love, Charity, Faithful, Strong, Safe, Missed, Dad, and “Old Man”.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dewayne Borden; and brothers, Bryan and David “Jug” Borden.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Deanna Borden, children, Jeffie Borden (Adrienne) and Jessica Borden; his mother, Patricia Borden; grandchildren, Colten, Willow, Bella, and Snow; aunt, Debra Ransom (Randy); uncle, Joe Borden; and a host of cousins and friends.

Pallbearers are Randy Ransom, Mark Borden, Benji Newell, Jay Castile, Boo Burns, Tommy Webb, Colten Borden, and Brody Vandiver.

Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Webb, Matt Rupley, and Chip Ransom.
