Dwight Daniel Luna, 50 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, February 18th, 2024, at his residence. Mr. Luna was born on June 23rd, 1973, in Huntsville, to Dennis and Diane Griffin Luna.
Mr. Luna is survived by his mother Diane Luna; sister Cassandra Taylor (Jimmy); 2 children; 6 grandchildren; aunts, uncles, and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Dennis Luna.
A graveside service for Mr. Luna will be Wednesday, February 21st, 2024, at 1:00pm at Short Cemetery, with Jamie Mitchell officiating. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Taylor, Adam Luna, Jason Luna, and Jamie Mitchell.
Mr. Luna was an avid outdoors man who loved fishing, deer hunting, and the ocean. He also enjoyed gardening and woodwork.
