Dwayne Vickery, age 82, of Bear Creek, AL. passed away November 10, 2023 at his home. He served in the Army National Guard, retired as a District Manager with Mutual Savings Insurance Co. member of the American Legion and a member of Concord Baptist Church in Natural Bridge, AL. Dwayne enjoyed all University of Alabama Crimson Tide sports, fishing, golfing, and taking care of his customers when he was working with Mutual Savings.
Visitation will be Monday, November 13, 2023 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral at 1:00PM in the chapel, with Richard Crumpton and Shawn Blanton officiating. Burial to follow in Bear Creek No. 1 Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Anna Courington Vickery; daughter, Deborah Kaye Vickery Dobbs, her husband Derral; grandsons, Matthew Dewayne Dobbs and Ronald Derral “Trey” Dobbs, III; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lois Johnson Vickery; sister, Joann Vickery Pace and brother Ray Vickery.
