Dusty Willcutt completed his work on this earth May 18, 2013, at the age of 61 at ECM Hospital after an extended illness.
He is survived by his sons, Billy Wells (wife, Heather) and James A. Willcutt, both of Florence; daughter, Jennifer Vaughn (husband, Kenneth); along with his eight treasured grandchildren, Baily, Dolton and Trinity Springer, Alex and Samanda Vaughn, Zoie and Maea Churchwell, Journey Wells; his companion, Marilyn Pitts; and his dog, Liz; brothers, Michael Willcutt and Glen Hodges (Judy); sisters, Wanda Hatcher (Mack), Kathy Keeton (Rickey), Donna Hayes (Phillip), and Shelia Rodrigues; along with a multitude of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Christine Willcutt, grandparents, Everett and Eva Goodman, and grandson, Steven Wells.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Nikki Newcomb, Angie Carter, Danielle Napier, Krissy Fish, Brianna Herston, Nikki Hill, Christy Love and Crystal Thigpen. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Keeton, Joe Brazil, Eddie Wallace and Aaron Thigpen.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Cancer Society .
