Memorial Service for Dusty Ladd Cheatham, age 52, of Trinity will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Westmeade Baptist Church, with Rev. Justin McAlpin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.
Mr. Cheatham, who died Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Trinity, was born January 3, 1972, to Talmadge Cheatham and Bonnie Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wes Cheatham.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Alisha Cheatham; two daughters, Kaitlyn McGough (Ben) and Cassidy Butler (Kyle); brother, Shane Cheatham; three sisters, Lane Cheatham Hagood, Leslie Cheatham, and Summer Stidham (Curt); and two grandchildren, Adalyn Mae Butler and Lennyn Reese McGough.
Dusty had a distinguished career of over 31 years of fire service, serving Caddo-Midway Fire and Rescue, Lawrence County EMS, and Decatur Fire and Rescue where he retired as Battalion Chief.
