Dupree Pardue, 97, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Tishomingo Community Living Center in Iuka, MS. He was born in Dennis, MS to Hafford and Dora Hill Pardue. He was a farmer for many years and was a member of Assembly of Christ Church. He was a veteran of the US Marines serving in the 1st Marine Division.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 16, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Roger Wood and Bro. Donnie Wooten officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by one son, Shearl Pardue (Regina); grandchildren, Kevin Allen, Lance Pardue, Stephanie Keeton and her children, Zack, Trent and Cassie, Jamie Holland and his children Austin, Ashley and Alexis and Bridgett Holland; great-grandson, Trevin Allen; son-in-law, Randy Allen; two sisters, Parthine Rosser and Maurine Hall; brother-in-law, Dexter Robbins and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opaline Pardue; his parents; daughter, Nelda Allen; son, Boyce Pardue and brothers and sisters, Walter Pardue, Maudie Adams, Mamie McNutt, Eula Mae Martin, Sherman Pardue, P.T. Pardue, Chess Pardue and Altie Calley.
Pallbearers will be Ransel Sparks, Charles Pardue, Myrl Williams, Lance Pardue, Scott Caldwell, Randy Allen and Gaylon Pardue.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 16, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
