Duane Vadron Evans, 73, of Trinity, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his home. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Campbell officiating.
Born on February 16, 1950 to the late Mansel and Dorothy Keever Evans, Duane will be remembered as an author, and artist who loved to go sail boating and spending time outdoors. Always a people person, he was well known and loved by anyone who met him.
Originally from the majestic mountains of Utah, Duane also spent time as a model, as well as working in software design. In addition to his professional careers, in his “many incarnations on this magical journey called life” Duane had the honor of being the Distinguished District 15 Governor of Toastmasters for several years.
Survivors include his most cherished and loving wife Alice of 10 years; daughter, Heidi Marie Evans; sisters, Cherie Bartges, and Deidra (Thomas) Parker; brothers, Gerald (Terri) Evans, Terry Evans, and Carew Evans; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity in Duane’s memory.
