Duane Henry Hodges, 56, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Methodist Hospital-Olive Branch, MS. Duane was raised in Toccopola before moving to Coldwater about 7 years ago. He worked for Mississippi Forestry for many years before becoming disabled. In his younger years he had a love for searching river and creek beds for Indian arrowheads with friends. He had recently been saved and was a member of Mustard Seed Ministries in Coldwater.
Survivors include his sister, Bonnie Graham (Lee); brother, Keith Hodges (Faye); 3 nephews; 1 niece; several great nieces and nephews; his best friend, Tara Patrick (Mark); and his furry companion of 16 years, Lightning.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lorraine Rioux Hodges.
Graveside Service will be Friday, November 24, 2023, at 2PM at Antioch Cemetery in Toccopola, MS with Bro. Lee Graham officiating. Visitation will begin at 1PM and continue to service time at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Hodges, Barry Wardlaw, Lee Chrestman, Mike Britt, Nathan Graham, and Austin Graham.
