Funeral for Dual Owens McNalley 89, will be _August 14, 2016 at 2: 00pm at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home, Hartselle, Alabama with Brother Nicky Pressnell officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Mrs. McNalley passed away Thursday August 11, 2016 at Riverside Senior Living. She was born April 1, 1927 to Bazzel Bascom Owens and Ollie Minor Owens. She was a lifelong member of River City Baptist Church formerly Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years James M. McNalley, her parents, brothers Kell, Athel, and Vernon Owens and sisters Elgin Murphree and Clovis Alford. Survivors include her son Ricky McNalley (Gigi), daughters Linda Burnett (Mike) and Sherry Parks ( David) all of Decatur. Grandson Michael Burnett, Jr. ( Kristin). Granddaughters Haley Kuhlman (John), Andrea Gerwin (Brett), Whitney Lamp (Stuart) and Sophie Gillette ( Zachary). Eleven great grandchildren Sarah Laine and William Kuhlman, Afton, Evelyn and Weldon Burnett, Adelaide, Hugh and Eleanor Gerwin, Jack and Sophie-Paige Lamp, and Mac Gillette. Brother Moval Owens ( Elaine) and sister Fran Greenwell (Rhea) and many loving nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Burnett Jr., John Kuhlman, Brett Gerwin, Stuart Lamp, Zachary Gillette and John Murphree. Memorials may be made in her honor to Hospice of the Valley or your favorite charity. The family very much appreciates the loving care and kindness provided by the staff of Riverside Senior Living and the staff of Decatur Home Care.
