Drusilla “Dru” Beaird, age 71 of Albertville passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at her home.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Bro. Tommy Mashburn will officiate her service. Pallbearers will be Shane Partee, Mark Bolton, Slade Partee, Lenny Bowen, Kenny Barclay and Bradley Slaton. Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Salvage, David Ramey and David Beaird. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 7.
She is survived by her husband; Jack Beaird, daughters; Kim Partee (Shane) and Shea Bolton (Mark), grandchildren; Halle Pannell, Slade Partee (Savanah), Jessi Kilpatrick and Tyler Bolton (Kate), great-grandchildren; Lydia Hubbard, Wilder Partee, Barrett and Walker Bolton and her brother; Lamell Slaton (Val).
She is preceded in death by her parents; Curtis and Genovle Slaton, and her brothers; Alus, Starlin, Excell and Lanham Slaton.
