DECATUR-Decatur Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit answered a call regarding complaints of illegal drug sales at 1605 Locust St. Four were arrested and this is how the Decatur Police describe the event:
“On 03/11/2014, at approximately 1349 hrs., Officers Michael Kitchens and Shawn Hudson, members of Decatur Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit made contact at 1605 Locust St SE regarding complaints of illegal drug sales. The Officers made contact at the residence with Tiffany Danielle Ray, Mason George Rogers, Christina Faye Reid, and Tiffany Elora Nix.
During the course of the investigation, Ray and Rogers were found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana packaged for resale and drug paraphernalia.
Ray was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Ray will later transferred to the Morgan County Jail and held in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.
Rogers was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Rogers will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail and held in lieu of a $3,000.00 bond.
Reid was placed under arrest for Loitering. Reid remained in the Decatur City Jail in lieu of a $500.00 bond.
Nix was placed under arrest for Loitering. Nix remained in the Decatur City Jail in lieu of a $500.00 bond.”
