Drug Bust In Florence Nets Large Amounts Of Fentanyl Powder And Other Drugs

FLORENCE-The Lauderdale County Drug Task Force issued a press release on a major drug bust in Florence on Thursday, September 15:

“On 9/15/2022, Agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force executed a lawful search warrant at 413 S. Kirkman St. After securing the residence a search began. Inside of the residence was a large amount of Fentanyl powder. Also located was a large amount of purple Fentanyl. Evidence was also located that is indicative of trafficking and selling large amounts of Fentanyl. There was packaging commonly used for distributing Fentanyl, scales, large amounts of residue, Oxycodone pills, Suboxone pills and strips, Marijuana and Cocaine.
The weight of the Fentanyl located exceeded 125 grams. Some of the Fentanyl was loose on a table and posed a serious

risk to officers attempting to collect evidence.

Travian Stover of 413 Kirkman St in Florence age 22 and Tyrecca Thompson of 413 Kirkman St in Florence age 25 were both arrested after execution of the search warrant.
Charged with:
Trafficking Illegal Drugs (Fentanyl), Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st degree and Unlawful Possession Of Drug Parahernalia
Additional charges and arrests are anticipated in this investigation.
Lauderdale County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Florence Police Department, Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office and the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office.”
