Dr. Gail Satchel
SHEFFIELD– Dr. Gale Satchel, Democratic Candidate for Colbert County Superintendent, will host her Campaign Kick Off at Rhoda P’s Restaurant and Catering on Sunday, November 15 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Food will be provided by Rhoda P’s. Rhoda P’s is located at 312 N Montgomery Ave, Sheffield, AL. Entertainment will be provided by Rachel Wammack who was recently crowned Miss UNA, was Talent Winner at Miss Alabama, and is a local recording artist.
Gale is currently serving as Director of Federal Programs, Academic Competitions, and Pre-K Programs with Colbert County Schools. Gale’s husband of eighteen years, Melcha Satchel, is Principle at Colbert County High School. They have one son, Melcha Jr., who is fourteen years old.
Through faith, family, and a commitment to the success of young people, Gale is excited and humbled to have the opportunity to seek the office of Superintendent of Colbert County Schools. She believes that the students of Colbert County are too important to be left behind and should be prepared for a 21st Century workplace. Gale pledges that while serving as Superintendent of Colbert County Schools, she will direct her passion and experience into “Bringing Students Back to the Forefront of Education”
