-Pam Doyle of the Muscle Shoals school board is now vice president of the association that serves more than 800 school board members. She was nominated by the AASB Nominating Committee without dissension from the AASB Delegate Assembly. This is her second term as vice president. Katy Smith Campbellof the Macon County school board is now president, and Steve Foster of the Lowndes County school board is past president. Officer and director terms are for two years.
“Pam and this board will do an outstanding job leading this association, elevating it to new heights and ensuring our strategic plan is implemented,” said Howell. “She has certainly been a staunch advocate for public education on the state and national levels.”

Doyle has been a member of the Muscle Shoals Board of Education since 2001 and first served as AASB vice president from December 2011 until December 2013. She was previously the AASB District 8 director. She owns and operates Superior Print Solutions and is married to Gary. The couple has two children, Kimberly and Danielle, and six grandchildren.
