Doyle Niles Wells, 60, left this world to be with his Jesus and his daddy May 22, 2024, at Tishomingo Community Living Center with his siblings by his side. He was born on January 22, 1964 to Bufard and Faye Wells at Red Bay, AL. He attended Belmont School, was a member of Fairview Holy Church of Christ and held many jobs throughout his life. His favorite jobs were driving the ambulance for Mike Kemp and being a truck driver. His greatest accomplishment in life was his beloved son, Jay Wells.
Services will be Friday, May 24, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. David Gould and Joel Wells officiating. Burial will be in Wells Family Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his beloved son, Jay; his precious mother, Ina Faye Wells; one smart-aleck brother, Joel Wells (Brandie); two bossy sisters, Deborah Harrison (Joe) and Judy Pannell (Tony); nieces and nephews, Jessica Harrison, Aimee Kidd (Charlie), Zachary Pannell (Paige), Trevor Pannell (Destiny), Jeremy Pannell (Grace), Katie Pannell, Jonathan Pannell (Alyssa), Abigail Pannell, Maggie Pannell, Lauren Rester, Taylor Wells and Braden Wells and eighteen great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and his great-niece, Autumn Wells.
Pallbearers will be Jessica Harrison, Katie Pannell, Maggie Pannell, Jonathan Pannell, Trevor Pannell, William Harrison and Colton Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Hughes, Mark Wells, Kenny Poole, Cody Congdon and Ray Paden.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
