Doyle Manley  Doyle Manley, 70, of Huntsville, passed away on June 10, after a lengthy hospital stay. He was a good man and he fought very hard.

Doyle was General Superintendent for, his work family, Stanley Construction Company. The Stanley’s were not just his employers, they held a special place in his heart.

Doyle, an avid NASCAR fan has built and raced several different types of cars over his lifetime. He enjoyed round track most; asphalt, and his favorite, dirt. He’s been known to win a race or two, as well.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Karen Brooks Manley; his daughters Terri (Rob) Gaffin, Brooks (Chad) Blaise and his son, Dusten (Renee) O’Reilly; his brother Steven (Natalie) Manley and his sister Carol Steadman; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph (Joe) and Jane Manley; his brother-in-law, Ronald (Buddy) Steadman.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 16, 6:30pm at Doyle’s favorite place to hang out, “The race car shop”! If directions are needed, let us know.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lupus Foundation of America, Lupus Research Alliance, the National Scleroderma Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Go fast, turn left, my precious friend, my loving husband!

The race is over, it’s ok to get out of the car, now. We will see you in the winner’s circle God has prepared for you!
