Doyle Dale Vann, age 64 of Winchester, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 at St. Thomas Midtown. He was born June 12, 1956 in Slidell, Louisiana to the late Homer Curtis Vann and Emma McClure Vann. He was a truck driver who enjoyed fishing and attending the races but most of all, he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by two brothers, Oliver Vann and infant brother, Gary Mack Vann; sister, Ruth Mitchell; and grandson, Colby Stewman. He is survived by son, Gary (Sherry) Vann of Estill Springs; daughters, Reba Vann (Tyler Duffey) and Melody (Sven) Stewman, both of Winchester; grandchildren, Trenton Vann ( Ashley Bailey), Mason Vann (Megan Shubert) and Aleta Stewman; great-grandson, Triton Vann; brothers, Alvie (Virginia ) Vann, Claude (Jan) Vann and Carlton (Carolyn) Vann, all of Huntland; sister, Betty (Joe) Dixon of Ardmore, TN, the mother of his children, Pam Vann; a host of nieces and nephews; and his four-legged best friend, Bobo. Visitation will be 1-3 pm Wednesday, August, 12, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 pm in Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bob Hill and Joe Mitchell officiating.
