Doyle “Bub” Mixon, Jr. 48, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born April 19, 1968 to Doyle Mixon Sr. and the late Patsy Umfress Hughes in Amory. He was a member of Brewer Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, drag racing, working on cars, NASCAR, riding four wheelers, and spending time with his family and friends.
Services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday October 13, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation wil be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home.

Survivroes include his father, Doyle Mixon, Sr. of Shannon, 2 Daughters, Leia Mixon of Brandon, Laken Tucker of Pontotoc, 3 Sisters, Teresa (Cecil) Upton of Fulton, Lesha (Bill) Laumen of Fulton, Frankie Snipes of Mooreville, step brother, Wayne Blair of Gattman, previous wife, Shirley West of Nettleton, 2 step sons, Scott West of Pontotoc, Eric West of Nettleton, step grandson, Hunter West.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Hughes, 2 nephews, and 1 niece.
Pallbearers will be Scott West, Eric West, Hunter West, Bill Lauman, Mike Miles, Sonny Mathis.
