Douglas Wayne Hyatt – Obituary

Douglas Wayne Hyatt, 71 of the Hulaco-Ryan area passed away Monday November 6, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mr. Hyatt was born November 26, 1945 in Marshall County to Herbert Cleo Hyatt and Lola Mae Pittman Hyatt. He was a dairy farmer until he retired. He was married to the former Linda Sue Barbee for 51 years. He enjoyed fishing, chickens, shooting guns and watching western movies.
He was a member of Grandiflora Church of Christ.
Mr. Hyatt is survived by his wife: Linda Hyatt; his son and daughter-in-law: Charles ‘Charlie” Hyatt and Melissa; his daughters and son-in-law: Tracey Lemmond and Tonya Bottomlee and David; his sisters and brother-in-law: Betty Jean Eakers and Kay Collins and Mike; his grandchildren: Shantai, Nycole, K.T., Dusty, Catherine, Jessie, Dakota, Katie, Colten, Misty, May and Shae and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Sarah Mae Lee; his parents: Herbert and Lola Hyatt; his brothers: T.V. Hyatt and Larry Hyatt.
Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Ronald Earwood, officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Church of Christ Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be David Bottomlee, Charles Hyatt, Colton Bottomlee, Steven Hyatt, Dakota Abernathy and Austin Hyatt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wilford Hyatt and Terry.
Visitation will be 12:30 – 2:30 Wednesday November 8, 2017 prior to the service at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
