Douglas Ray Sparks, 48, died October 6, 2012 at Helen Keller Hospital. He was born July 19, 1964 to Harold G. and Nell Henley Sparks. He was a Christian.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 8 at 2:00 pm at New Bethel Baptist Church in Belmont with Bro. James Segars and Haskell Sparks officiating. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his parents-Harold G. and Nell Henley Sparks of Muscle Shoals; and three nieces-Elizabeth Steles of Memphis, Emily Steles of Sheffield, AL and Sarah Grace Steles of Auburn University.
He was preceded in death by his sister-Vickie Sparks Steles.
Pallbearers will be his cousins.
Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church.
