Douglas McKinley Allred, age 64, of Decatur passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at his residence.
Graveside Services will be Monday, August 12, 2024 at 3:00 PM with Bro. Jimmy Meek officiating as Mr. Allred will be laid to rest in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur, Alabama.
Mr. Allred was born on September 14, 1959 to Neal Douglas and Lora Mae Asherbranner Allred in Decatur, Alabama. Douglas was a welder by trade in the metal fabrication industry and served as a veteran in the United States Navy for many years.
Mr. Allred was preceded in death by his father, Neal Douglas Allred.
He is survived by his mother, Lora Mae Allred Vinson; brother, Chad Allred (April); sister, Kenithe Arnold (Tom); along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Allred’s loving family will serve as pallbearers.
Shelton Funeral Home assisted the family with Jasson Thomas directing.
