Douglas Guy Stanfill age 57, of the Sweet Lips Community, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
Born Wednesday, August 5, 1964, Doug was the son of the late Guy Stanfill and the late Robbie Smith Stanfill.
Prior to the failure of his health, Doug was a machine operator for Blue Scope Blue Steel.
Doug’s favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson. He especially enjoyed toy runs and poker runs to support children and those with financial needs.
Doug is survived by a former wife and true friend Shirley Stanfill of Selmer, Tennessee; a brother Phil Stanfill of Henderson; a niece Kayce Kilzer, a nephew Ryan Stanfill and a great-niece Reagan Kilzer.
Visitation will be Friday, May 20th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors Crook Avenue Chapel in Henderson, TN. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm with Serge Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow at the Chester County Memorial Gardens.
