Douglas Glenn Townsend, 74, of Greenhill, passed away May 21, 2014, at his residence.
He was a retired electrician with the Florence Utilities Department.
Survivors include his son, Timothy Mark Townsend and wife, Martha; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy and Jessica Townsend; great-grandchildren, Cody, Chase, Landon, Chandler, Haylee and Hannah Townsend.
He was preceded in death by sons, Trent and Jonathan Townsend, parents, Mary Ann Watkins and J. E. Townsend, brother, Jimmy Townsend.
Visitation was Sunday, May 25, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service followed at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in Lone Cedar Church of Christ Cemetery.
