Douglas Gene Schwan, Sr., age 72, of Vinemont, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at his residence. He was born August 10, 1947, to Carlton Schwan and Mary Ruth Pope.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie Pope.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sandra Schwan; sons, Mike Barker and Doug (Sherry) Schwan; daughter, Channah (Waylon) Daniel; grandchildren, Kassy (Zach) Johnson, Alan (Elise) Bright, Daniel Tucker, Brittney (Scottie) Currington, and Kanasta Daniel; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy (Cathy) Pope; and a host of family and friends.
