Dorthy Andrews, 93 of Addison, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home.
Dorthy was born on March 25, 1928 in Cullman, Alabama to Clyde and Alice Hamrick. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church (Upshaw). She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and worked very hard on their farm.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 12-2pm at Friendship Baptist Church in the Upshaw Community, where services will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Donnie Carroll and Brother Ralph Andrews will officiate.
Dorthy is survived by her son, Jamie Andrews and his wife, Kim; daughters, Sue McMeans and her friend, Kenneth, Diane Wilkins and her husband, Ronnie, and Jan Crittenden and her husband, Kelly; grandchildren, Dustin Wilkins, Haley Wilkins and her fiancé, Justin, Amber Crittenden, Andrew Crittenden, Kayla Pendley, Gunner Pendley, Rylee Hulsey, and Nicholas Word; sister, Willena Key and her husband Anthony; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coyt John Andrews; parents, Clyde and Alice Hamrick; brothers Ervin and Neal Hamrick; and sisters, Novell Hill, Athelene Guthrie, Wynelle Kennedy.
