Funeral services for Mrs. Dorris Odell, age 86, are scheduled for 1 PM, Sunday, November 14, 2021 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Palestine Presbyterian Cemetery. Mrs. Odell passed away late Tuesday in Lexington. She was born September 29, 1935 in Henderson County to the late D. L. and Martha Jones Tyler. She was a Quality Technician at Johnson Controls for 38 years and a member of Blue Goose Pentecostal Church for over 50 years. She loved reading her Bible, writing poetry, and making crafts. Mrs. Odell was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Thomas “Sonny” Odell; her son, Tommie Odell; her daughter, Sandra Odell; and her sister, Bonnie Faye Starnes. Survivors include her three brothers, Dean Tyler, Harold Scott, and Neal Scott and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday 10 AM until time of service at 1 PM.
