Dorothy W. Green, 92 of Decatur, passed away on Monday, November 27th, 2023, at Decatur Health and Rehab. Mrs. Green was born on March 2nd, 1931, in Morgan County, Alabama, to Alvie John Woodruff and Lula Case Woodruff
Mrs. Green is survived by her son John “Hal” Green.
Mrs. Green worked 40+ years with Ma Bell.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother John Alvin “Sonny” Woodruff.
Funeral services for Mrs. Green will be Thursday, November 30th, 2023, at 2:00pm at Shelton Funeral Home of Decatur. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00pm. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery of Decatur. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. The family requests casual attire for the service.
