Dorothy Virginia Tidmore

Dorothy Virginia Tidmore entered Heaven’s gates November 19th at the age of 94. Dorothy was the daughter of the late John L. & Zona Robinson and was born in 1926, in New Hope, Alabama. Dorothy was a Homemaker and was known as a kind, honest, and loving yet “Spunky” Lady. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Solitude Baptist Church.  She loved children and invested years of her life loving and molding her children, and many nieces and nephews, as well as her grandchildren and many others that came into her life as Christian Citizens in this world with honesty and integrity.

Dorothy is preceded in death by the man she loved and was married to for over 56 years, T.V.Tidmore; her oldest daughter, Martha Hardin, sister, Verna Mae Cornelius, and Brother, Robert S Robinson. She is survived by her two sisters Betty Whitehead of Horton and Bonnie Rutherford of Union Grove, her daughter, Mary Camp (Mike) Perry,FL; her son, T. Van Tidmore Ft.Lauderdale,FL; Grandchildren Carrie Bevis; Allison Finley (Chuck); Will Hardin;  Hunter Tidmore (Diana); Skyler Tidmore (Victoria).  She is also survived by her Great Grandchildren Wade, Landon, Cambron, Jesse, Caden, Avery, Willow, Beau, and Wilder whom lovingly referred to her as Gigi.

 

The family will have a Graveside service at Marshall Memorial Gardens Saturday November 21st at 2 pm.

 

The family requests that everyone wear masks and use the Social Distancing guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID.

 

Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
