Dorothy Pearl Roten – Obituary

dorothyDorothy Pearl Roten was born December 13, 1928 in the Woodville Community of McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Andrew and Girtie Armour Roten.

Miss Roten worked at Chester Manufacturing for over 25 years. She was a loving sister and aunt. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and helping others. She was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. While she was at McNairy Healthcare Center she enjoyed all the activities especially bingo, Senior Olympics, and spending time visiting with her friends.

Miss Roten departed this life on September 11, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 8 Months, 29 Days. She is survived by a brother, Clifford Roten and wife Elizabeth of Bethel Springs, TN; nieces, Carolyn White and husband Jerry, Phyllis Harvell, Cathy Nasalroad; nephews, Anthony Roten, Tim Warren and wife Cortney; five great nieces and nephews; four great great nieces and nephews; host of extended family and her friends at McNairy Healthcare Center.

In addition to her parents, Miss Roten was preceded in death by a sister, Mossie Russom.
