Dorothy Nell Garner, 84, died May 17, 2015. The funeral service will be Friday, May 22, at Roselawn Cemetery, the Reverend Evan Garner officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home and graveside service at noon.
A native of Morgan County, Miss Garner was the daughter of Paul Dyer Garner and Willie Gertrude(Thompson) Garner. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, James Garner, Hollis Garner and Jimmy Garner; and one niece, Cathy Anne Garner.
Miss Garner is survived by five nieces, Carolyn Garner, Debbie Garner, Paula Howard, Melissa Wilson and Sherri Rahm; four nephews, Greg Garner, James Garner Jr., Larry Garner and Russell Garner. A graduate of Austinville High School, Miss Garner was employed by Mutual Savings Insurance Company for 43 years. Her sweet, gentle spirit will be greatly missed.
